JKBOSE declares Class 11 results for Jammu; pass percentage at 81

Over 14,600 students qualify in Winter Zone examination

JAMMU, FEBRUARY 2 (KNT): The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on Monday declared the results of the Higher Secondary Part One (Class 11th) Annual Regular Examination 2025 for the Winter Zone Jammu, officials said.

According to the official Result Gazette, a total of 17,570 students were enrolled for the examination in Jammu province, out of which 14,622 candidates qualified, registering an overall pass percentage of 81 per cent.

The gazette shows that 5,107 students secured distinctions, while 7,188 candidates passed in first division. A total of 1,947 students were placed in second division, and 320 candidates secured third division. The Board recorded 178 failures, while seven candidates were absent. Additionally, two examinations were cancelled, as per official figures.

Subject-wise performance reflected strong results across Arts, Science and Commerce streams, with several subjects, including vocational and elective courses, registering high pass percentages. The results were declared with the usual clause of errors and omissions excepted, the gazette noted.

Meanwhile, in the combined J&K results, the Board reported that 24,040 students were enrolled across regions, of whom 19,321 candidates passed, taking the overall pass percentage to 83 per cent. The combined results included 7,932 distinctions and 8,165 first-division holders, while 1,259 students secured second division and 225 were placed in third division.

Students have been advised to collect their detailed marks sheets and subject-wise performance reports from their respective institutions or through the official JKBOSE platforms. (KNT)
