BOSE declares Class 11 results for Winter Zone Kashmir; pass percentage at 89

Over 53,600 students qualify across Kashmir province

SRINAGAR, FEBRUARY 2 (KNT): The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (BOSE) on Monday declared the results of the Higher Secondary Part One (Class 11th) Annual Regular Examination 2025 for the Winter Zone Kashmir, as per the official Result Gazette.

According to the gazette, a total of 60,003 students were enrolled for the examination across the Kashmir province, of whom 53,670 candidates qualified, registering an overall pass percentage of 89 per cent.

The result figures show that 12,859 students secured distinctions, while 18,206 candidates passed in first division. A total of 902 students were placed in second division, and 430 candidates secured third division. The Board recorded 156 failures during the examination.

Additionally, 15 candidates were marked absent, while two examinations were cancelled, as per the official data. One candidate was reported to have qualified in additional subjects.

Subject-wise performance across Arts, Science and Commerce streams reflected strong outcomes, with several vocational, science and language subjects recording high pass percentages. The results were declared with the usual clause of errors and omissions excepted, the gazette noted.

Students have been advised to obtain their detailed marks sheets and subject-wise performance records from their respective institutions or through the official BOSE channels. (KNT)
