Highlighting the importance of professional and outcome oriented investigations, the IGP stressed strict adherence to procedural requirements, especially while dealing with cases under special laws such as the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act and the NDPS Act. He said meticulous investigation and proper documentation are critical for ensuring justice and sustaining convictions.

The probationers were advised to develop strong investigative and operational skills, maintain a thorough understanding of criminal laws and procedures, and effectively use information technology in policing. The IGP also emphasized compliance with police rules, standing orders, and maintenance of records, including FIRs, case diaries, registers, and overall police station management.
