During the interaction, the IGP congratulated the probationers on joining the police service and underlined that integrity, fairness, impartiality, accountability, and discipline must remain the cornerstone of all police actions. He said meticulous investigation and proper documentation are critical for ensuring justice and sustaining convictions.

The probationers were advised to develop strong investigative and operational skills, maintain a thorough understanding of criminal laws and procedures, and effectively use information technology in policing. The IGP also emphasized compliance with police rules, standing orders, and maintenance of records, including FIRs, case diaries, registers, and overall police station management.

Professional conduct, discipline, supervision of subordinates, proper uniform turnout, and ethical behaviour were repeatedly stressed. Officers were encouraged to cultivate humility, interpersonal skills, and moral values, and to regularly consult Bare Acts, manuals, and official instructions to enhance their professional competence.
