Srinagar, Feb 04 : Scores of aspirants, who qualified the exams for the posts in Health and Medical Education department, Friday staged a protest here, demanding authorities to declare final selection list.

According to the protesters, the advertisement notification for the posts were declared in March 2021 and subsequently, the exams were held in August last year.

Talking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), an aspirant said, “Many of the aspirants who qualified the examination left the private and contractual jobs. However, some miscreants, for their vested interests are trying to delay the declaration of final selection list in order to ensure illegal extension the contractual employees.”

“We appeal Lieutenant Governer led administration and Health and Medical Education department to look into the matter so that the aspirants could heave a sigh of relief,” the protesters said—(KNO)
