33-year-old driver found dead in suspicious condition in Dooru Anantnag

Srinagar, Dec 30 : Body of a 33-year-old driver was found under suspicious circumstances at village Nowgam in Dooru in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district today, officials said.

Identifying the deceased as one Aijaz Ahmed Wagay son of Ghulam Hassan Wagay, resident of Nowgam, the officials said that the body of the person was found in his native village and later on brought to the hospital by his relatives”, they told GNS.

“On preliminary examination by the doctors, there was no external bodily injury albeit it (body) with cyanosis (a bluish discoloration of the skin due to poor blood circulation)”, they told GNS.

An enquiry under section 174 CrPC has been initiated to ascertain the cause of death, they added. (GNS)
