Srinagar, September 05: Additional Director General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar on Monday said that the deadbody which was found today in Shopian was cause of group rivalry among the militants groups.

While quoting ADGP Kashmir Zone Police in a series of tweets wrote, ” Preliminary investigation reveals that killing is due to group rivalry between militant groups. Investigation of case is vigorously going on in a very professional manner & those militants involved in the crime will be identified soon & dealt strictly under law,”.

In another tweet, they wrote, “Deceased’s one brother (Ashiq Nengroo) is active militant of JeM Militan outfit & presently in Pakistan, 2nd brother (militant Abbas Negroo) was killed in encounter in 2014 & 3rd brother (militant Reyaz Negroo) is presently lodged in prison in militant attack case,”.

Earlier a bullet riddled body was found in orchards of Narpora area of Shopian.(GNS)
