Kokernag, Jun 27 : A 65-year-old man was mauled to death by a bear in Fattan Ahalan forest area of Kokarnag in South Kashmir’s Anantnag on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday, officials said here.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that that the man identified as Mohammad Akbar Chohan (65) son of Mohammad Hussain Chohan of Ahalan Gadool was coming home during the night of 26-27 June, when he was attacked by the bear.
He said that the man died on the post and his body was brought back today morning—(KNO)
