Srinagar, December 24: A Top commander of Jaish-e-Mohammad among two militants were killed in a gunfight in Wanigam Payeen area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thrusday.

Official sources told GNS that two JeM militants were killed in an encounter.

As per the sources slain militants have been identified as Abrar alias Langoo from Pakistan and Amir Siraj from Sopore, however official confirmation is yet to come.

Amir had gone missing on 24th June this year and was said to be an ace footballer.

Earlier after 08 hours of standoff between militants and security forces in Wanigam area, the militants were tracked and subsequently engaged.
