Drone movement reported on IB in Jammu

Jammu, Mar 05 : A suspected movement of a drone has been reported from Arnia area of International Border after which Border Security Force fired multiple rounds towards the object.

An official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that a humming sound of suspected drone was heard early in morning at about 04:10 AM by alert troops of BSF in general area of Arnia.

BSF troops fired towards the direction of sound, BSF added.

If further said that the area has now been cordoned with help of police and search is being conducted.

Pertinent to mention here that a drone movement was also reported on February 24 in the area of Jammu along International Border after which Special Operation Group of Jammu police launched a Cordon and Search Operation and seized a consignment dropped by drone.

Several IEDs and three bottles of suspected semi solid explosive and other war like store were seized from this consignment—(KNO)
