Friday prayers culminate peacefully at Jamia Masjid, over 3000 devotees participate

Srinagar, Mar 04 : Over 3000 devotees participated in the mandatory congregational Friday prayers at the historic Jamia Masjid here in Old City area of Nowhatta where sermons were delivered after the gap of 30 straight weeks.

According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Imam Hai Syed Ahmad Naqshbandi while delivering sermons, demanded immediate release of Jamia Masjid’s head cleric Mirwaiz Umar Farooq.
