Driver dead, helper injured as 2 trucks collide head-on inside Navyug tunnel

Qazigund, Mar 7 : A driver died and his helper was injured after two trucks collided inside the Navyug tunnel late last evening, officials said.

An official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a truck travelling from Srinagar to Jammu, crashed into another truck inside the tunnel at around 10:20 pm on Thursday.

He said that in the incident driver, identified as Sukhdev Singh (30) of Punjab, died on spot, while his helper, identified as Jaswinder Singh (26) of Punjab got injured.
