Rajouri, Sep 07 : A student was killed and four others onboard a vehicle were injured after a road accident occurred today on Rajouri-Kotranka Road near the Palma area, officials said.

An official told News Vibes of India (NVI) that a student was killed while four other were injured after a private car, bearing registration no JK11E 8411, veered off the road.

He said it was carrying school-going students, among whom one person died and the other passengers were injured.

He added that the injured were later shifted to GMC Rajouri, while their identities are yet to be confirmed.

Meanwhile, police have taken up the investigation into the cause of the accident. NVI
