Met issues weather advisory from Aug 7 to 15 for J&K: Light to moderate rainfall expected in morning, evening hours

Srinagar, Aug 07 : The Meteorological (MeT) department has issued a week-long weather advisory and prediction for J&K stating that from August 7 to 15, there are chances of light to moderate rainfall in both the regions while as there was a possibility of flash floods and thundershowers at scattered places as well.

As per the news agency—Kashmir News Corner (KNC), the weather advisory of MeT, reads that “7th August: Brief spells of Rain/thundershower at few places during day time with Spells of light to moderate Rain/thundershower at many places of J&K towards late night/early morning. 8-9th August: Brief showers during daytime with a spell of Rain/thundershower at scattered places mainly during late night/early morning.”
It states that from 10-11th August, a brief spell of Rain/thundershower at scattered places of Kashmir Division & fairly widespread places of Jammu Division.
