Uri Infiltration Bid: One More Militant Killed, Toll Reaches 02, Searches Continue

Srinagar, April 05: Another unidentified militant has been killed taking toll to two after security forces foiled a Infiltration bid in Sabura Nala area of Uri in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

A top official told GNS that two militants has been killed, one body recovered so far in the firefight.

He further said that Searches in the area are underway.

Earlier, during wee hours, movement of militants were detected. Infiltraters were challenged by the security forces, leading to a firefight.

During firefight one militant was killed, whose identity was not yet ascertained, he said.(GNS)
