Srinagar, September 15 : Additional Director General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar on Friday said that Operation will continue until all militants are not neutralised.

While quoting ADGP Kashmir, The Kashmir Police Zone wrote on X, ” Rtd Police/Army officers should avoid “ Ambush Hypothesis”. It is a specific input based ops. Ops is in progress and all 2-3 trapped terrorists will be neutralised.

Meanwhile, an army personnel who was critically wounded succumbed to his injuries today at a hospital.

As this report was being filed heavy firing, mortal shelling was continuing late evening.

On Wednesday a fierce gunfight erupted between militants and security forces in Gadole area. In intial exchange of fire three armymen including colonel, Major and besides DySP of Police were critically injured.

Colonel, a major and a DySP latter, succumbed to their injuries.

On Thrusday, contact was again established with hiding militants and there was some exchange of fire, however no militant was killed so far.(GNS)
