Srinagar, Jun 15 : A man was killed and another injured after a vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident at Sinthan-Top on Thursday.
An official told GNS that a car on way to Anantnag skidded off the road at Sinthan-Top in Chatroo area, resulting in on spot death of a person and injuries to another.
“Soon after the accident, a rescue operation was launched at the site by the army and locals”, the official said.
The official identified the deceased as Latief Ahmed Malik son of Abdul Rashid Malik, resident of Verinag and injured as Amir Ilyas Wani son of Mohammad Ilyas Wani resident of Brenti Batpora Anantnag.
Confirming it, a police official told GNS that they have taken cognizance of the incident. (GNS)
