Rajouri, Oct 20 : A hand grenade was found on Tuesday near Hanuman Temple in Chityar area in Rajouri district was later destroyed by the Bomb Disposal Squad.
Officials told GNS that earlier in the day, a hand grenade was found near Hanuman Temple in Chityar area after some children playing near the house noticed a suspicious-looking object lying in the area and informed the local police.
Police team had reached the spot and cordoned off the area.
The grenade was later destroyed safely, officials said.(GNS)
