Speaking to media, Farooq Abdullah as per GNS said had such an incident happened during his time, the officer would have been thrown out of the state immediately.

“Would have been out, should have been thrown out. I was there at that time this would have happened, would not be in the state for more than two minutes. I would have put him back on the plane and sent him back,” Abdullah said.

He said the officer would have been attached and shown the door.

“The officer would have been attached, he would have been out, attached, he would have been shown out,” he added.

The remarks come amid widespread outrage over the video where Administrative Secretary Labour & Employment Department Kumar Rajeev Ranjan is seen verbally abusing Assistant Director Employment Ganderbal Beenish Wani during a review meeting, following which the government has ordered an inquiry and the NCW has taken suo motu cognizance.(GNS)
