The protest witnessed the presence of prominent religious leader Aga Syed Hassan, who actively joined the demonstration. Participants raised slogans in favour of Iran and chanted slogans against Israel and the United States during the protest.

During the demonstration, flags and photographs bearing the name and image of Syed Ali Khamenei were displayed by protesters as a symbol of support and solidarity with Iran. The gathering emphasised unity and collective support for Iran’s stance, reflecting the sentiments shared by those participating in the protest.

Addressing reporters on the sidelines of the protest, Aga Syed Hassan alleged that Western media outlets were biased and were spreading misinformation about the situation. He appealed to international media organisations to report facts and present what he described as the truth on the ground.

He further said that disturbances had been curbed and peace had been restored, asserting that the situation was now calm. He also stressed the need for restraint and responsible reporting to avoid further escalation of tensions.

The protest concluded peacefully, with participants dispersing after the demonstration without any untoward incident being reported. [KNT]
