Srinagar, Oct 23 : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday held a protest against remarks by the National Conference (NC) MLA Bashir Ahmad Veeri, who had called it a “communal party”.
According to details available with news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) the NC MLA, while paying tributes to BJP ex-MLC, Ramesh Arora, highlighted the role and works done by the leader.

Soon after his remarks, BJP legislators stood from their benches and held a protest, demanding action against the NC legislature.
The party raised objections over his remarks, with BJP legislator, Sham Lal Sharma stating that such derogatory comments have been made while paying tributes to anyone during the obituary.
