Active LeT militant arrested in Rafiabad Sopore

Srinagar, April 04: An active militant of Lashkar-i-Toiba outfit was arrested on Monday in Ladoora area of Rafiabad of North Kashmir’s Sopore.

Official sources told GNS that today on a specific input about movement of a Militant in Ladoora area of Rafiabad, a Cordon and search operation was launched by Police and Army’s 32 RR. During the search, the security forces noticed suspicious move of one individual, subsequently the individual was apprehended.

The arrested militant has been identified as Mohd Iqbal Khan son of Mohdammad Amin Khan resident of Jagu Kharen, Beerwah, Budgam.

Upon his search one Chinese Pistol, one magazine and five 9mm rounds were recovered from his possession, they said.(GNS)
