Baramulla, Mar 25 : In a bid to incentivize the remarkable performance of orphan students of district Baramulla, the Director School Education Kashmir (DSEK), Tassaduq Hussain Mir Friday felicitated over 150 meritorious Orphan Students who passed the recently held 10th and 11th class examinations with flying colors.

The meritorious students were felicitated during a ceremony organized by Chief Education Officer Baramulla G M Lone, at Govt Girls Higher Secondary School Baramulla where the Director distributes tablets among such students.

After felicitation, the Director extended appreciations to the meritorious students who performed efficiently and remarkably in their respective streams. He urged upon them to ensure productive utilisation of these gadgets so that their overall performance in learning is enhanced. He also emphasized upon them to work hard in their respective domains for achieving academic as well as competitive excellence.

The Chief Education Officer, in his address congratulated the students and said that imparting modern and inclusive education is the top priority of the education department.

He also advised the students to acquaint themselves with the latest teaching methods as the mode and medium of learning has now shifted from the conventional one. He also assured that the education department will take every possible endeavour for the empowerment of student fraternity with special focus on weak and under privileged sections.
