Third wave: Active cases decline from 47,969 to 7,424 in last two weeks

Recovery rate increases from 87.32 percent to 97.30 percent, reveals data

Srinagar, Feb 11 : The active cases continue to decrease besides that recovery rate continues to increase in J&K since last two weeks in Jammu and Kashmir.

As per the data available with news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), during third wave of Covid-19 in J&K were on 26 January when total number of active cases were 47,969.

However, since 26 January the number of recovery cases were more than the number of positive cases every day and number of active cases have reduced to 7,424.

In other words, since 26 January, 40,545 persons suffering from Covid-19 virus have recovered while in the same period 35,101 cases have been reported.

Active cases have decreased from 34,400 to 4,506 in Kashmir while active cases have decreased from 13,569 to 2,918 in Jammu division in same period.

Moreover, since 26 January the recovery rate has increased from 87.32 percent to 97.30 percent in J&K.

Furthermore, the death toll in J&K has increased from 4,635 to 4,741 that means since 26 January 106 Covid related deaths have been reported in J&K.

As per the data 106 deaths reported since 26 January include 56 from Jammu division and 50 from Kashmir division—(KNO)
