Kupwara, Sep 20: An army soldier was killed in Lolab area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Monday afternoon, official sources said.
They said that the killed soldier was part of a Road Opening Party (ROP) at Lassipora General Road. While official ruled out it as a militant attack, they said confirmation was awaited if it was case fratricidal killing or there were some other reasons for the death. However, they said, there were few shots heard.
