Pulwama Update: 1 militant killed, operation on

Srinagar, October 20:(GNS) 01 militant has been killed in the intial exchange of firing in Hakripora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Official sources told GNS, that one militant has been killed in the initial exchange firing. However the identity of the slain militant is yet to be ascertained.

Pertinently two militants were killed in an Overnight encounter in Shopian.

Earlier, Reports reaching GNS that a joint team of Police and army’s 50RR launched a cordon and search operation in Hakripora.

As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off an gunfight.(GNS)
