Srinagar, May 29 : A 50-year-old woman, who was critically injured after allegedly falling from a height at her home in Brain Nishat area of Srinagar died on Thursday, officials said.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the woman from Brain Nishat had fallen from the height at her home and was brought to SMHS Hospital Srinagar with multiple injuries.

He said the deceased was shifted to the hospital for medical aid, where despite hard efforts by doctors, she succumbed to her injuries.

The deceased was identified as Shahzada (50), wife of Abdul Salam Jan, resident of Brain Nishat, Srinagar. Meanwhile, the circumstances surrounding the fall are being investigated.

Meanwhile, a pall of grief has descended over the area following the tragic death, and relatives states to arrive and witness the last glimpse of decreased—(KNO)
