Srinagar, May 21 : A flight with 227 passengers onboard made an emergency landing at Srinagar Airport on Wednesday.

Officials at the Srinagar Airport told GNS that flight from a particular airlines, enroute Delhi-Srinagar, experienced bad weather—hailstorm— and the pilot concerned reported the emergency to Air Traffic Control (ATC) Srinagar.

Later the flight landed safely at Srinagar at 1830 hours, they said.

“All Aircrew and passengers are safe and flight has been declared AOG (Aircraft on Ground) by Airline,” they added. (GNS)
