Sopore Police Tighten Noose on Drug Network, One Held

Sopore: Continuing its unwavering drive against the drug menace, Sopore Police achieved success by arresting a notorious drug peddler and recovering a significant quantity of psychotropic substances.

Acting on credible inputs, Police Station Dangiwacha apprehended one Mohammad Iqbal Dar, son of Mushtaq Ahmad Dar, a resident of Drusoo Khalisa Rafiabad, in connection with FIR No. 22/2025 under sections 8/22 and 29 of the NDPS Act.

Earlier investigations had led to the seizure of 496 capsules of SPASMOPROXYVON Plus. Subsequent interrogation and sustained efforts resulted in the recovery of some additional capsules.

Sopore Police remains committed to eradicating the drug menace from society and safeguarding the lives of the youth. The public is urged to continue supporting the police by reporting drug-related activities in their localities.
