Hay Healthcare Conducts Free Dental Health Camp in Collaboration with Khumani Youth Welfare Movement

Srinagar, April 6: In a significant step towards promoting community oral health, Hay Healthcare, a leading healthcare organization, in collaboration with Khumani Youth Welfare Movement, organized a comprehensive Dental Examination & Referral Camp at Dar Mohalla Imam-Bada Bemina on Sunday, April 6, 2025.

The camp witnessed an overwhelming response, offering essential oral healthcare services to around 130 patients from the local community. A dedicated team of dental and medical professionals was present to provide consultations, diagnoses, and referrals.

The team was led by Dr. Mohamad Arif Lone and included three dental specialists, one medical specialist, two pharmacists, and two para-dental staff. The services provided at the camp included:

Comprehensive dental check-ups

Intra-oral camera screenings for enhanced diagnosis and patient education

Oral hygiene demonstrations and brushing techniques

Screening for related medical issues like obesity, dyspnea, diabetes, hypertension, and thyroid disorders

Distribution of free medicines including antibiotics, pain relievers, and oral hygiene kits

Dr. Rafiya Nazir (MDS, Periodontics) educated attendees on proper brushing techniques and highlighted the importance of maintaining oral hygiene. Dr. Novsheen (Oral Pathologist) emphasized early screening and detection of oral pathologies, raising awareness about the need for regular dental check-ups.

The medical team also addressed dental issues linked to underlying health conditions, offering comprehensive support for patients needing further medical attention.

Patients appreciated the quality of care and the compassionate service offered by the team. Many expressed gratitude for the free services and the thoughtful initiative.

Hay Healthcare extended heartfelt thanks to Khumani Youth Welfare Movement for facilitating the event and supporting the cause of public health.

Looking ahead, Hay Healthcare plans to conduct similar camps across other districts in Kashmir, reaffirming its commitment to improving community health and spreading awareness about oral hygiene.
