Srinagar, Jan 04 : A fire broke out in a residential-commercial building at Rajouri Kadal area of Srinagar on Saturday late evening, officials said.
They said Fire and Emergency Services (F&ES) are on the spot, and about two firefighters have sustained injuries.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a fire incident broke out from a residential-commercial building in Rajouri Kadal, Srinagar.
He said that during the firefighting operation, two firefighters sustained injuries and were immediately transferred to SMHS Hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, officials from the Fire and Emergency department are on the spot, and the dousing operation is ongoing.
Earlier in the evening, another fire incident was reported at Nawakadal, where a room on the first floor of a three-storey residential house was engulfed in flames.
