CASO launched in Kathua after suspected movement

Kathua, Dec 08: The security forces launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Parangoli area near Dayalachak-Billawar road in Kathua district, officials said.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kathua, Shobhit Saxena, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that, “There was some suspected movement, and we responded within an hour. Since last night, in coordination with the Army, SOG, CRPF, and other agencies, we have been thoroughly searching the area.”

He said that aerial surveillance is being carried out to assist the search operations. “We are corroborating the reports, questioning locals, and continuing the search,” Saxena said.

The search operation is going on, with heightened security in the area—(KNO)
