Srinagar, Nov 15 : Amid the joy and crowd at Chati Padshahi Gurudwara in Rainawari on Gurupurab, a little Sikh boy’s laughter echoed through the air, offering a rare moment of pure joy in a place often marked by the weight of history and solemn prayers.

His innocent face, beaming with happiness, was a stark contrast to the solemnity surrounding him.

As per details available with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), on this special day as the Gurbani (Sikh hymns) filled the air with sacred verses, little Simranjeet Singh couldn’t contain his excitement. His small feet dashed around the Gurudwara, weaving in and out of the prayer hall, his laughter mixing with the sacred hymns.

“This is the best day ever! I love being here with everyone,” he said, his eyes sparkling with delight.

For others watching the little boy run with joy, it was a bittersweet reminder of simpler times. “When I see him so carefree, it feels like I am seeing myself in my childhood,” said Harman Singh, an elderly man, who had come to offer his prayers.

The Gurudwara glowed with hymns and gurbani, imparting the teachings of the revered Sikh Gurus.
