Kedar Jadhav while talking to reporters here in Srinagar on the sidelines of a Legends League match as per news agency Kashmir Bulletin said that, “enthusiastic crowds, it’s a great opportunity for Srinagar people to see cricketers up close”.

“When matches are held at such venues, especially with such enthusiastic crowds, it’s a great opportunity for people to see cricketers up close. Unfortunately, the wicket wasn’t ideal for T20, similar to what we saw in Jodhpur, the ball was turning, making it tough to hit fours and sixes, he said.

The crowd loves seeing those big shots, so hopefully, a better wicket will make for exciting batting in the knockout games, Jadhav said.

It’s wonderful to see so many people attending the match and cheering us on every shot. We’re thrilled to be here in Srinagar and feel blessed by the encouragement,” Jadhav said.

It is important to mention that after 39 years international players came here to Kashmir. (KB)
