Exchange Of Fire Reported In Mendhar Poonch, Search Operation Underway

Jammu, September 15: An Exhange of fire was reported in wee hours between militants and security forces in Kalaban near Pathanatir point in Mendhar area of Poonch district on Sunday.

Officials told GNS that security forces recieved a specific input about presence of some militants in the area. As the security forces moved towards the suspected spot, an exhange of fire took place between militants and security forces.

Till this report was being filed, Search Operation in the area was underway. (GNS)
