“The Langar Khana will offer lunch from 1 PM to 3 PM and dinner from 7 PM to 9 PM, with an aim to assist those facing financial difficulties while supporting their loved ones in the hospital,” said a management member.

“Many attendants struggle to afford basic meals, and this new service seeks to address that need.”

“Additionally, the foundation will provide blankets for patients and their families, with the understanding that they will be returned once treatment is completed,” the member said.

Notably, the inauguration ceremony was attended as Chief Guest by sitting Member Parliament from Srinagar seat, Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi. The event was also attended by many other distinguished socio-religious personalities.

Mehdi, emphasizing the significance of the initiative, as per GNS, stated that, “This Langar Khana is a testament to the spirit of compassion and community support. It’s heartening to see such initiatives that provide relief to those in need, demonstrating the true essence of our shared humanity.”
