The residents gathered in large numbers, expressing their grief and solidarity with the people of Iran.

Budgam also witnessed significant gatherings at Magam and the central Budgam area. Meanwhile, Sumbal in Bandipora saw locals joining in the peaceful protests, holding placards and offering prayers for the departed souls.

Speaking to KNO, a local from Soura, Ali Mohammad, said, “We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of President Ebrahim Raisi and other Iranian officials. They were leaders who stood for justice and peace. Our hearts go out to their families and the people of Iran.”
