Ramban, May 03 : In a significant stride towards bolstering security measures, district Police Ramban under the Command of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ramban Anuj Kumar made functional an advanced AI-Based Facial Recognition System at Navyuga Checking Plaza, Banihal under the jurisdiction of Police Post Jawahar Tunnel Police Station Banihal.
A statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) reads that this technology is designed to identify and track individuals involved in criminal activities, including terrorists, OGWs, absconders, history sheeters, thieves, and drug peddlers.
