Srinagar, January 25 : Two hybrid militants were apprehended by security forces in Boniyar area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday.
A top police officer told GNS that a joint team of Dagger Division/Pir Panjal Brigade and Baramulla Police apprehended two hybrid militants red handed after infiltrating into social media groups and precise tracking.
He said that by apprehending these hybrid militants, a major tragedy was averted by security forces on the eve of 26th January. 2 Pistols, 02 grenades, 2 Magazines, 24 rounds, 1silencer and other incriminating material have been recovered from their possession.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered and further investigations have been takenup.(GNS)
