Poonch, Aug 22 : Police on Tuesday diverted traffic after a suspicious objected, suspected to be an IED, was spotted along Poonch-Jammu highway.

Official sources told GNS that the object suspected to be the improvided explosive device (IED) was detected by army’s 155 TA near Neali village in Manjakote area off Rajouri district. Soon the vehicular traffic was diverted through link road via Rajdhani, they said. In between, they said, Bomb Disposal Squad was summoned to the spot.

More details are awaited, they added. (GNS)
