UP resident found dead inside car at Batwara

Srinagar, Aug 18 : A man hailing from Uttar Pradesh was Friday evening found dead inside a car at Batwara area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district, officials said.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) a UP resident identified as Badree Gupta, son of Madan Gupta was found dead inside a car.

After receiving information, the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of the area, Mansha Beigh, visited the spot following which police took the body into their custody.

“The body has been taken to SMHS Hospital for modico-legal formalities, and the police have taken cognizance of the incident,” the official said—(KNO)
