School Edu Deptt seeks verification of PG degrees of teachers, masters

Srinagar, Aug 11: The government has said that the School Education Department was taking no notice regarding the exigency of verification of PG degrees pursued during service by PostGraduate Masters and Teachers in various disciplines.

According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the department in the past has issued directives several times.

However, the Human Resource Management Section of the department said that in the previous communiques, ‘it was requested to furnish information in respect of those Masters and Teachers who have acquired their PG Degrees in various disciplines through regular, distance and private mode during service.’

“Despite the reminder and exigency involved, requisite information has not been furnished and uploaded on the dedicated link till date which has been viewed seriously by the authorities,” reads the communique.

The concerned officials in this regard said that he was once again directed to request directors of both the regions to realize the exigency of the matter and furnish the requisite information by or before August-15-2023.

“Further the concerned shall be directed to upload the details on the dedicated link upto August-15 after which the link shall be closed and the concerned shall have no claim for seeking their inclusion in the seniority list or promotion,” it reads—(KNO)
