Div Com Kashmir visits Baltal axis of Shri Amarnathji Cave; takes firsthand appraisal of arrangements

Srinagar, July 05 : The Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri Wednesday conducted an extensive visit of Baltal axis of Shri Amarnath Cave to take firsthand appraisal of arrangements made for yatries for ongoing Shri Amarnathji Yatra (SANJY), 2023.

Among others, the Div Com was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Shyambir; Additional District Development Commissioner Ganderbal, Camp Director, PYO Baltal and I/C JPCR Baltal.

On the occasion, the Div Com visited JPCR Baltal, Domail, Camp Director Office, Langer (Tent Accommodation) Shrine Board, RFID Counter, e-KYC Counter etc.

The DC Ganderbal briefed the Div Com about the arrangements put in place for yatries including health, sanitation, toilet, drinking water, tents and langar facility.

He also informed the Div Com about the services being provided to the yatries to ensure their smooth and hassle free movement.

The Div Com directed the Officers present to make sure that the facilities are properly extended to the yatries to make it their memorable yatra.(GNS)
