Toddler drowns to death in Budgam village

Budgam, June 14 : A toddler drowned to death on Wednesday afternoon in Danas area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a 2-year-old boy was playing when he drowned in Nallah Sukhnag and soon after the incident locals and officials started rescue operation.

He identified him as Talib Ahmad Ganie son of Khursheed Ahmad Ganie of Danas Budgam.

The official said that his body was later recovered by the locals from the river—(KNO)
