Kulgam, Jun 09 : An elderly woman was killed after she was hit by an unknown vehicle in Khudwani area of Kulgam district on Friday.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that an elderly woman was hit by an unknown vehicle near Khudwani bypass, leaving her seriously wounded.
He said that she was immediately rushed to GMC Anantnag where she was declared dead on arrival.
The official identified the deceased as Kulsuma Banoo (60) wife of Abdul Gani Hajam, a resident of Gassipora Larm.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the incident and has initiated further investigation—(KNO)
