25-year-old Man Dies in Handwara As Sand Mound Caves In

Srinagar, Jun 5 : A 25-year-old man died after getting trapped under caved in sand mound at Shanoo area of Langate in Handwara of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

Reports reaching GNS said that one Javid Ahmad Mir son of Abdul Jabbar Mir, a resident of Shanoo Langate got trapped under a sand mound, while he was extracting the sand alongside others.

The person was rescued by the locals and shifted to a nearby hospital, where the doctors declared him as brought dead on arrival.

DO Langate, Abdul Rashid Khan, has in the meantime also confirmed to GNS about the death of the man in the particular incident. (GNS)
