Bijbehara, Aug 23 : A pedestrian was killed after he was hit by an unknown vehicle in Bijbehara area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag on Tuesday.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that an unknown vehicle hit one pedestrian identified Ghulam Mohiuddin Rather son of Moma Rather of Chandpora Kanalwan.
He said that he suffered serious injuries and was rushed to SDH Bijbehara, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, Police have taken cognisance of the incident and a case has been registered, while further investigation is going on—(KNO)
