Teachers, Masters not to be allowed to enter Civil Secretariat without departmental permission

Srinagar, Jul 08 : The School Education Department has asked the Senior Superintendent of Police, J&K Security not to allow teachers and masters to enter civil Secretariat Srinagar without proper permission from the department.

According to a letter by Under Secretary to Government School Education Department, a copy of which lies with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) teachers, master and other employees visit the civil secretariat on a daily basis, which hampers the official business in the department.

“Kindly refer the subject above, in this connection it is to convey that the teachers/lecturers and other employees visit the Civil Secretariat, Srinagar on daily basis which hamper the official business in the department,” reads the letter.

It reads that the issues are usually related to transfers/deployments on various grounds. “It is not out of place to mention that the department has already provided various online facilities like ATD, Subject specific/issue specific email for redressal of these issues.”

“In view of the above, I am directed to request you to not allow any Teacher/Master for visit to Civil Secretariat, Srinagar without proper Permission /Pass from the department,” the letter reads further—(KNO)
