Srinagar, July 8: The Jammu Kashmir Nationalist People’s Front (JKNPF) Friday expressed anguish over the loss of life and damages to Amarnath Yatra base camp due to cloudburst near the holy cave.
Expressing anguish over the loss of life, Founder and Chief Patron Sanjay Kumar said, “Deeply pained by the unfortunate incident of cloudburst at Shri Amarnathji holy cave, in which precious lives have been lost.”
The patron said that in the unfortunate incident several precious lives have been lost and the party sends its heartfelt condolences to bereaved families.
He said that party members are on way there at Baltal for a rescue operation and to check what possible assistance will be provided to the pilgrims.
While expressing solidarity with the pilgrims, the party President Shiekh Muzaffar said that every sort of assistance will be provided to the holy pilgrims and their families.
“Our prayers are with the pilgrims and the rescue teams involved in the operation,”.
