Budgam, Jul 05 : A non-local woman was hanged to death by her husband in Chadoora area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district late last night, officials said here on Tuesday.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the woman who was putting up in a tent with her husband on the banks of Doodganga River in Chadoora was found dead today morning.

He said that the couple allegedly had a fight overnight and the woman’s husband, who is now absconding, hanged her to death.

The official added that an investigation has been set into the motion and body has been taken into custody—(KNO)
